VA - Jupiter Sounds - Vol. 1 (2015)The debut release from UK based independent label Jupiter Sounds. Uncovering the finest in synth, soundtrack and spaced out cosmic disco with a firm belief in all things hand crafted and individual, Jupiter Sounds - Volume One is a well thought out, unique collaboration between 11 exceptional artists from across the globe.
From London’s Model 86, having recently released an extremely well received glitch, ambient electronic album, now having produced a wonderfully haunting and evolving soundtrack composition, to Austria’s Farbfelde bringing a Berlin school spaced out electronic sound to the table. Also shaping the tone of the album is Leeds based Redpine, giving his unique slow-down chugging analogue sound also known for a recent release on heavyweight industry don Tony Thorpe’s label Studio Rockers. Producing a beat heavy synth track and representing Poland is the well respected Flashdance, joining the likes of Columbia’s Meteor and Colorado’s Secret Destroyers helping to push part of the album towards the retro synth wave realm. Sweden’s Harmony & T brings a calm acid sound whilst Parker Benjamin and California’s Unibe@t pick up the power with deep, synth heavy head nodders. Corellian Collective take things deep into melancholic soundtrack territory and French based Mike Haunted rounds off the album beautifully with a wonderfully deep, feel-good track that will stay with you long after listening.
