Phrozenlight is a musical project formed by Bert Hülshoff in the late 90s. As suggested by the name itself (Frozen Light: light without movement, is like dead space) the music can be perceived as a sonic metaphor of harmony of the spheres and chaotische fractal . Consequently, Bert Hülshoff's musical signature offers sustained, otherwordly cinematic ambiences for synthezised textures, electronic arpeggios and computer equipments. This project firstly take its inspiration from Berlin kosmische's electronic school but it also explores the dreamy-like / environmental aspects of organic ambient music. A satisfying musical travel through various moods and atmospheres.

"Phrozenlight" (Bert Hulshoff) started in 1995. He is from the Netherlands.
He creates imaginary travels into the darkness with his electronic space-scapes. Beside ambient sound-scapes he also terrorizes the so called "Berlin School" genre with his own approach of the sequencer based electronic inventions. He sometimes even uses an electric guitar or bass with a lot off fx, to make some Japonized acid based guitar-noize.
Besides his solo work Phrozenlight forms together with Eppie E Hulshof(aka "Von Haulshoven") the Dutch group "Dutch Space Mission". Some of their albums are released on MusicZeit too.
