Voyage, the brainchild of Stephen Kraft of Soundkraft, is an experimental album that seeks to test the ultimate capabilities of synthesizers. In this attempt, Stephen Kraft pushes each synth to its breaking point, beats it with a hammer and then duct tapes it in place, metaphorically of course, and then records their dying bleeps and screams. If that wasn't enough, the melodies are krafted to emulate the elements of the solar system itself, from drifting comets and asteroids to the whisk of the Voyager Space Probe passing distant planets. This album probes the inner recesses of your mind all while exploring the outer reaches of the solar system and beyond.
