Thomas Ronkin is a prolific and challenging artist coming from the West Coast sacred space music school (Michael Stearns, Steve Roach?.). Firstly influenced by the moving and electronic analog epics of the Berlin Underground scene, Thomas Ronkin started his career back in the 1970s. During the early 1980s he released some of his most astonishing and notorious albums. Today Thomas Ronkin is still active, providing some ambient sound sculptures for installations and reaching a wider public. His musical signature delivers emotionally charming and propulsive sci-fi proggy electronic ambient.
