There is something very "eighties" in "Terra"- a bit as if "Music for supermarkets" had crossed "White Eagle" and Depeche Mode ! But Sayer has the intelligence to combine all of this in the light of his own rhythmic and melodic sensitivity, and the result is simply ... bluffing ! Perhaps one of his best albums, where the profusion of melodic ideas competes with constantly evolving compositions, where each title conceals surprises and opens on unexpected bifurcations. A must have !

The track 'Hermes' was featured on the radio station KRCB-FM by DJ Paul E's Space/Time program 12/20/22. I found it beautiful and melodic, so I promptly purchased the whole album. No true surprise when I learned during Bandcamp search that Dream Quest is an alter-ego of the artist Sayer because I have been following Sayer for years. I love pretty much everything he releases into our earthly realm out of his "divine" inspiration! ❤️ 'Of the Gods' is no exception. Bravo!
