Axxent Opaque is Colin Jordan, Gary Wright and Chris Medway. Performing live electronic music with a combination of hardware and software synths.

"SOUTH" is the result of a concept we had for our appearance at the seventh wave festival of electronic music held in Birmingham last year (March 2019). It was an ambitious project involving us LIVE scoring a film in real time in front of an audience using an extensive array of electronic musical equipment. It was extremely well received on the day by all those in attendance.



The film tells the story of the ill-fated Shackleton expedition to the Antarctic in 1914 which turned into a dramatic struggle for survival against almost overwhelming odds.
