Chris Harvey draws on minimalist traditions whilst moving firmly forward, carving out his strong identity with carefully constructed melodies lingering long after they're heard. No stranger to pushing boundaries of the experimental organic ambient scene, he also remains true to his roots absorbing influences from artists such as Aphex Twin, Delia Derbyshire, FSOL, Thomas Dolby and David Sylvian. He creates the perfect fusion of dense, atmospheric synthetic soundscapes and rippling, melodic sequential electronics.
