Since the age of 12 you could have found Eric Storm, on any clear night, peering into space with his newtonian reflector telescope. Some of the greatest questions that has inspired him since this age was 'when will humans journey to the stars?' 'Are there other intelligent civilizations in the cosmos?' Even before his starstruck passion for spaceflight Eric Storm was inspired by great classical New Age artists like Vangelis, Kitaro and Jon Serrie. By taking his piano skills taught to him by his mother Eric Storm began composing music from an early age, and quickly became enchanted with etherial, ambient music, which he later incorporated into electronic music through the use of modern electronic equipment. 'Riding a Wave of Light' is a compilation of soundtracks that took about ten years to compile, and he might not have ever released his work had digital technology not finally allowed easy alternatives to traditional recording labels.
