This eye catching album, resplendent with crisp artwork, is Frank Quasar's third CD and is definitely one for Space Music fans. "A trip into transparency" proclaim the sleeve-notes and it certainly is an entertaining and enjoyable hour's worth of cosmic soundscapes and tendril-like synth washes. Actually, the basis of the album is more earthly with the title track and 'Between Clouds' being dedicated to "...all pilots" however the end result is unmistakably ethereal. Frank delivers the formula elongated pads and chords with some aplomb and the overall feel is of quality and an attention to detail. The thinly disguised 'Q Files' has the familiar trademark motif and then breaks out into by far the most uptempo piece of the album with some very TD-like sequences supporting a steady beat and some well though out themes. Overall this is a pleasing package which should be investigated if Space Music is your particular interest.
