Five Steps is the fruit of a recent collaboration between Jonathan Fitoussi and Clemens Hourrière. The Buchla 200 is one of the first modular synthesizers dating from the 1970s. Using the vintage modular synthesizers Buchla 200 and some Eventide fx, the two producers succeeded in creating a unique LP that really needs to be heard in its entirety. The Buchla 200 is one of the first modular synthesizers dating from the 1970s. Buchla was a contemporary of Moog, and like Dr Robert, he produced his first synthesizers in the 1960s. He continued to do so throughout the '70s and '80s, but the commercial acclaim and recognition afforded to Moog eluded Buchla, and he concentrated on controllers in the '90s. ''Retro? No. Just like mixing “warm” water with two knobs instead of one. When wonderful designs appear and beautiful sounds are made, they become classics no matter how avant garde they are.'' - https://clone.nl/item35702.html Bandcamp | Bandcamp | Review Tracklist: 1 - Petits Pas 2 - Solstice Winter 3 - Drum Circle 4 - Moonish Landscapes 5 - Dreamachine 6 - Five Steps 7 - Ice Stalactite 8 - La Colline 9 - Aurore Boreale Digital Exclusive 10 - Lights Sequence 11 - Instants Ephemeres Total time - 00:49:57 DMF
