Elysium Solace is a neo-electronic musical voyage through a shifting digital universe. Although the music is, as a whole, warm, evocative, and sentimental, aspects of some pieces are dark and eerie. Elysium Solace is about contemplating, inevitably, the dark along with the light. This is evident even in the title - one can't have solace, for example, without something to be comforted about. Elysium suggests heaven, a glorious paradise that is reached only after death. Nonetheless, the album as a whole leaves the listener with an overwhelmingly positive, hopeful message: Elysium is more enduring than death, and solace overcomes any tragedy.
