Peter Irock was born in 1959. In the early 1970's he got interested in the music of Jarre, Vangelis, Tomita, Wendy Carlos and German EM pioneers (Klaus Schulze, Tangerine Dream, etc.) In 1977 he began composing his own electronic works and started to give concerts, first solo and then with fellow musician Lionello Ferrazzini as one half of the duo Fairlight. He then went solo again and played as supporting act at some concerts of Italian progrock band Banco del Mutuo Soccorso.
