 Although Swiss-born, synthesist Thomas Ronkin has been residing in California since 1976 and that's where his musical career started. In the early years, he collborated with the likes of Steve Roach, playing rhythmic, sequencer-based Electronic Music. Firstly influenced by the moving and electronic analog epics of the Berlin Underground scene, Thomas Ronkin started his career back in the 1970s. Today Thomas Ronkin is still active, providing some ambient sound sculptures for installations and reaching a wider public.
