EtherKraken - Saturn Mysteries (2023)
"Saturn Mysteries" immerses the listener in the hypnotic depths of Berlin School electronic music, with sequences that often had me imagining flybys of the planet Saturn and its mysterious rings.
Kristof Bathory of Void Stasis and Dawn of Ashes serves us his first solo album on Cryo Chamber with Humanoid Dystopia. A cinematic dark ambient story revolving around four androids exiled to a desert prison planet. Huge walls of sounds, modular arpeggiators and sweeping basslines serve us a textured palette of sounds that combine for a true sci-fi epic.
The compilation "Secret and Mystery I", sensitively compiled by Robertson for Prudence Records, features the congenial ambient duo project "Gleisberg & Bernd Scholl" and the electronic project "Deep Imagination", works by Prudence artists who stand for particularly atmospheric and mysterious music. Prudence acts such as Dutchman Paul Heinermann, Enigma producer Jens Gad and sound painter Robert Simon Toma contribute further mystical tracks to this highly successful compilation. "Secret and Mystery I" is a relaxed, musical flow in which the mysterious, yearning and unfathomable flows into a warm, deep lake.
The second part of the compilation series "Secret and Mystery" continues mysteriously and atmospherically. The ambient magic of Bernd Scholl resounds before electronic pioneer Peter Mergener celebrates floating space sounds. The atmospheric music of other artists such as Gleisberg, Deep Imagination, Art Of Infinity and Vamadeva leads the way through this expressive ambient compilation from the Prudence label.
