Despite being an accomplished multi-instrumentalist, Mariusz Duda has always been attracted to telling a story, an idea or a concept. While on previous albums from the "Lockdown Trilogy" the musician wanted to capture life during a pandemic, this time the renowned progressive mastermind explores the concept of artificial intelligence as a disruptor. The new solo record focuses on the increasing commercialization of artificial intelligence and, in particular, the entry of AI into the mainstream. Using the concepts of ChatGPT and Midjourney as a springboard, as well as the growing use of deepfakes, 'AFR AI D' explores these interesting and promising theories both musically and conceptually.
