Robert Reed - Cursus 123 430 (2020)

The Welsh prog multi-instrumentalist has released an interesting album. Cursus 123 430 is a wonderful recreation of classic synth sounds from Jarre to Vangelis, from Ultravox to Depeche Mode, from John Carpenter to Tangerine Dream.
The album clearly demonstrates Rob Reed's immense love and skill in the way he honors his musical heroes, but using these sounds and styles, the musician also creatively applies his undoubted talents to catchy, exciting rhythms and alluring melodies to make his own mark in music.
