GNOLL - HDK 70 † The fortress of Kruglach (2021)
“In the elder days, beyond the ancient forest of Regnad, the evil Sorcerer Kruglach built for himself a mighty fortress of stone. He retreated into this, to experiment with dark and terrible enchantments, and a fear fell upon the land.
The people were afflicted with plague and pestilence; animals and children vanished from their homes at dead of night; and the crops in the fields were ruined by the black fungus that spread in the polluted air from Kruglach’s towers.
After many dark years, Kruglach’s evil influence abruptly ceased, and the people joyfully assumed him dead. But now, centuries later, in the village of Arn Gate on the edge of the forest, the people are dying from an unknown sickness, their crops are wilting, and their children disappearing. The surrounding villages, in fear, have banded together and offered a reward to anyone who would venture beyond the forest to seek the fortress of Kruglach and put an end to his evil.
Attracted by the reward, but also curious, you have journeyed to Arn Gate…”.

Lovett - The Night House (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) (2021)
Death Waltz Recording Co., in partnership with Lakeshore Records, are proud to present Ben Lovett's haunting score to the Searchlight film The Night House.
A death in the family can be terrifying by itself, but all the more when you're alone, and you don't know who to turn to. Such is the predicament in The Night House, directed by David Bruckner (The Signal) and starring Rebecca Hall (The Gift) as Beth, a widow whose husband has unexpectedly died. This leaves her alone in a house he built, where she witnesses a terrifying ghostly presence and a feeling that his death and life are a mystery to be unravelled. Scoring The Night House is Ben Lovett (The wind), who creates a mix of emotional melodies and unsettling tonalities that drive the tension as the audience slips deeper and deeper into Beth's mysteries. Lovett anchors the score with a beautiful and warm theme on low strings, together with a counterpoint of lonely and echoing solo piano that acts as a conduit for the more uncomfortable soundscapes introduced. Pulsating electronics layered over high string music box melodies grab the score's fabric and draw out the intensity until the final moments of euphoria. Only by experiencing this ordeal can you learn the absolute truth of The Night House. (Charlie Brigden)

The British Stereo Collective - Mystery Fields (2021)
The British Stereo Collective is the retro electronica project of Phil Heeks. Phil grew up in the 1970s surrounded by the sounds of Geoff Love, TV and film soundtracks and BBC sound effect albums. His debut album ‘Mystery Files’ takes inspiration from this blending soundtrack samples and sound effects together to evoke the sound and atmosphere of early electronic music.
