Another one of those "John Carpenter revival" projects, this time from the UK. This trio of Andrew Prestidge, Andy Thompson and Matt Thompson plays an analogue synth-based music that, apart from Carpenter, seems to be influenced by Goblin, Zombi and classic German EM.

Meteor Music - EON (Original Soundtrack) (2023)
Belgian synthetic trio Meteor Musik has released a live soundtrack specially designed for a full-dome projection of the Brussels Planetarium, where it was performed in 2019. EON tells the story of a lone astronaut (Dirk Hendrikx) facing imminent death. The musicians worked on a sonic story of loneliness and claustrophobia caused by deep space, creating vast and complex sound worlds. Combined with the visual realization of designer Jaak de Digitale, this resulted in an ambitious full-length film. EON combines exploration, imagination and emotion, forcing you to ask questions, while your senses are stimulated by live music and immersive 360° visual effects, perfectly matching the planetarium projections.
