Retro electronica 1970s/1980s. Masquerading under The British Stereo Collective and The New Electric Frontier. + One half of electronica duo The Eternal Machine.
Alongside the diverse selection of TV and radio themes presented on ‘Mystery Fields’ (and subsequent volumes of the ongoing ‘Sound Library’), The British Stereo Collective provided the score to the epic 1979 science fiction film ‘Tomorrow, the Stars’. Alternately melodic and abstract, the film’s score utilised traditional classical instrumentation, as well as the latest synthesisers; and that old sci-fi and horror staple, the mighty Theremin!
